As part of my transplant rejection surveillance, I'll need regular biopsies in the first year after my transplant.

At the outpatient clinic, I'll be seen by a transplant nurse. They will check my weight, blood pressure, temperature, heart rate and oxygen saturation. They'll also review my medication.

A year after the transplant, I'll have my coronary arteries checked for coronary disease. This will be checked on a yearly basis.

There is a psychology service I can access through the Outpatient Clinic, via a referral from the nursing team.

Occasionally, I may need to attend the Outpatient Clinic for blood tests. If I don't live close enough to the hospital, I can get these done at my GP's surgery.

After each appointment at the Outpatient Clinic, I'll be given a day and time to ring for any changes in my medications, and for my next clinic appointments.
